"I will be a Father to Him,
and He shall be a Son to Me."

Jesus is our Messiah, the ultimate king from David’s line who rules over God’s people and the nations. He is the fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant. As a descendant of David, He is the promised king whose reign is everlasting. His sacrifice and resurrection are the ultimate demonstration of God’s love. God’s eternal love for Christ overflows into His eternal love for David and for all who trust in Christ alone. Let us praise and thank the Lord our God for His love which is not limited but overflows.
In the lineage of David, a promise divine,
A king for all ages, in prophecy's line.
Jesus, our Messiah, in majesty reigns,
Over nations and peoples, His rule never wanes.
Fulfillment of covenant, Davidic in kind,
In Jesus, its essence, we are inclined.
Descendant of David, His reign without end,
An everlasting kingdom, He does commend.
His sacrifice profound, resurrection so bright,
Demonstrations of love, in God's holy light.
From David to Christ, a love so profound,
In Christ alone, our faith is sound.
Overflowing love, from the Father above,
To David, to Christ, an eternal love.
Let us give thanks, let our praises ascend,
For His love, limitless, knows no end.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We acknowledge Jesus as our Messiah, the ultimate King from David’s line who rules over Your people and the nations. We recognize Him as the fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant. As a descendant of David, He is the promised King whose reign is everlasting.
We thank You for His sacrifice and resurrection, which are the ultimate demonstrations of Your love. Your eternal love for Christ overflows into Your eternal love for David and for all who trust in Christ alone.
We praise and thank You, Lord our God, for Your love which is not limited but overflows. May we always remember Your promises and live in the light of Your love.
